What is a Plan B compatible muzzle device?
A Plan B compatible muzzle device is the firearm-side component in a taper-mount system. Its external geometry is designed to engage a compatible Plan B suppressor mount. The taper helps create a consistent seating surface while the threaded portion retains the mounted component. The muzzle device still needs the correct barrel thread, suitable bore clearance and proper shoulder fit for the firearm.
Plan B compatibility does not mean that every muzzle device, adapter and suppressor can be combined without checking dimensions. A complete system includes the barrel threads and shoulder, the muzzle device, the suppressor-side mount or HUB adapter, the suppressor’s available blast-chamber depth, and the projectile path through the assembled system.
Barrel side
Confirm thread pitch, thread direction, shoulder geometry and caliber with the barrel manufacturer.

Confirm bore rating, timing requirements, overall length and the exact Plan B mounting geometry.

Flash comp or brake comp?
A flash compensator is intended to distort visible flash during unsuppressed use. The Plan B Flash Comps offered here do not require timing. A brake compensator is intended to redirect gas to reduce recoil during unsuppressed use; the Plan B Brake Comps require timing and include a peel washer. A brake chamber can also serve as a sacrificial surface ahead of the suppressor, but the suppressor manufacturer’s specifications remain controlling.

Where a HUB suppressor adapter fits.
HUB is a widely used name for a 1.375–24 rear suppressor thread. When a suppressor is genuinely compatible with that interface, a HUB-to-Plan-B adapter can provide the suppressor-side part of the system. The Plan B HUB Mount Adapter uses 1.375–24 internal HUB threads, .900–24 external threads and a 25-degree taper.
HUB compatibility alone is not the entire answer. Verify the suppressor model, rear thread, mount length, blast-chamber clearance, caliber, ammunition, barrel length restrictions and alignment requirements. If the combination is not explicitly supported, contact the suppressor manufacturer or a qualified gunsmith before use.

Does a HUB adapter fit every suppressor?
No. A 1.375–24 HUB adapter requires a suppressor that accepts that exact rear interface and has compatible internal dimensions and operating limits.
Which thread pitch should I choose?
Choose only the pitch confirmed by the barrel manufacturer or verified markings and measurement. The Plan B catalog includes 1/2–28 and 5/8–24 options, but those pitches are not universal.
